Permission cards and questions render in the MacBook notch, and everything fails open.
The MacBook notch now answers Claude Code for real. Permission cards and question cards render right in the notch, jump-back lands on the correct Terminal tab, and the whole thing fails open: if the app ever breaks, Claude just prompts normally in the terminal like nothing happened.
Fail-open was the design decision I cared about most. A helper tool that can block the thing it helps is worse than no tool.
Shipping this took 28 agents across three workflows. Final gate ran the 137-test suite twice and the end-to-end pass twice, all green, before I called it done.
